Kotori invites Inuzuka to cook with her after hearing that he wants to make good food. Tsumugi is thrilled by her idea, but Inuzuku is apprehensive.

Tsumugi tries to take home a clay Hamburg steak and gets into a fight with Mikio. Inuzuka and Kotori make the real thing in order to cheer her up.

Inuzuka receives a bunch of vegetables. He and Kotori make a gratin full of assorted vegetables to get Tsumugi to enjoy the peppers she dislikes.

Inuzuka decides to try deep-frying for the first time when he finds out that Tsumugi wants donuts. First, he starts by making the dough from scratch.

Kotori’s friend Shinobu joins the cooking group, and Tsumugi is over the moon with excitement. They decide to throw a gyoza party to celebrate.

Tsumugi quietly heads out to go to Kotori’s place by herself while her dad is sick in bed. Inuzuka wakes up and notices that she is gone.

Inuzuka decides to make the squid dish that his wife used to make, but Kotori is worried that they won’t be able to make it to Tsumugi’s liking.
