Naomi hasn’t seen her close friend Kanako in months. Kanako seems happily married to her banker husband, but soon Naomi finds her swollen and bruised.

Kanako freezes when her husband Tatsuro suggests seeing a fertility specialist. Since he became violent, she has feared and avoided getting pregnant.

Kanako visits Chinatown with Naomi, and is shocked to see Rin, a Chinese man who looks just like Tatsuro. Naomi has a plan involving Tatsuro’s twin.
