Trotro gets washed all by himself. He washes his hands and his face, cleans his teeth and brushes his hair. But once he has drunk his warm hot chocolate for breakfast…… he has to start all over again!As soon as it stops raining, Trotro and Teddy go out for a walk. They jump in all the puddles and slide and splash around everywhere. You can just imagine!! They end up just as wet as if they had gone out in the rain in the first place!Trotro is in love with Nana but Nana does not want to play with him. She is worried that if she goes out she will ruin her dress. So Trotro goes and plays with Lili. When Nana sees them happily playing in the sand together, she gets quite jealous.Trotro goes bike riding with Lili. To impress her, Trotro does tricks on his bike. He rides without using his hands, and then without pedalling. But it all ends in tears – obviously!! On the way back, the bike gets the better of Trotro….Mummy has forgotten to take out Trotro’s clothes for him. But that’s no problem – Trotro can get dressed all by himself. It is great fun for him to choose his clothes himself and put them all on at the same time. Let’s not forget to dress Teddy either…. there we are…. But there is a surprise in store for them.Trotro loves sleeping in Mummy and Daddy’s bed. Every time Daddy takes him back to his own room, Trotro comes straight back into his parent’s room! So Mummy and Daddy come up with a cunning plan to make sure he stays in his own bed.

Mummy asks Trotro to tidy away the toys that are lying all over the floor in his bedroom. But Trotro decides to undertake a major tidy up operation of everything and starts by taking everything out of his bookcase, his box of drawings and his toy box. Instead of finding a tidy room, Mummy comes across an absolute mess…..Trotro does not want to eat his fish, and so has to find a way of getting out of this. He has more than a trick or two up his sleeve, much to the admiration of Lili and Nana.Trotro is playing hide and seek with Lili. It’s always really difficult to hide when you have ears like Trotro’s and so Lili always wins. But when it comes to playing tag, Trotro is the fastest.Trotro loves pushing his own trolley around the shop and choosing all the things that are needed in the house. Daddy’s mind is on other things and so he really isn’t paying much attention. But when Daddy and Trotro get to the check out…. Daddy isn’t too happy with some of the things Trotro has put in the trolley….Trotro is reading a book to Teddy. It’s as if Trotro is actually reading it because even though he does not know how to read the words, he knows the story off by heart. Teddy never ever gets bored when Trotro tells him a story, but when Mummy reads one, Teddy always falls asleep……Trotro decides to dress up as a tiger. Like all good tigers, Trotro goes off to hunt for food, which invariably leads him to the kitchen……

Look at all that snow ! It certainly makes Trotro want to go sledging. But going up and down the hill all the time is really tiring. Luckily, Lili comes to hep him, and now sliding down becomes a lot more fun.It’s time for a nap. But Trotro doesn’t want to go to sleep and would prefer playing hide and seek with Teddy. Trotro would be better off listening to his Daddy, as spending an afternoon with Lili is going to be a little tiring.Trotro has decided to be a little monster. He successfully tries out his new talent on his parents….. but then this new little monster suddenly gets frightened by….. a tiny little animal. !Trotro would like to pay Nana a compliment but does not know how to do it … What can you do when you are in love with someone but too shy to tell them ?Daddy and Trotro are going to fetch a Christmas tree from the garden. Trotro becomes impatient and when Mummy has gone out to do some shopping, Trotro decides to decorate the tree all on his own in his own style.….. Trotro is drawing in his room, and Lili is with him. He doesn’t want her to touch any of his pencils or any of his toys. Every time Trotro finishes with something, he won’t share it with Lili. So Lili come back with her own roller skates, and is really enjoying herself…. Now Trotro would really love to share …..

Trotro dresses up as Daddy. He puts on Daddy’s boots, glasses and his scarf and then goes to see Mummy who is preparing a snack. So Daddy pretends to be Trotro. He cuddles Teddy and asks for snack. Trotro soon only has one thing on his mind. To become the real Trotro again as soon as possible.Trotro has knocked his chocolate over Teddy. To wash him, Mummy puts Teddy in the washing machine. But it’s not so easy to dry Teddy afterwards. But Trotro’s efforts are all worth it in the end – there is nothing as good as sleeping with a nice clean Teddy. Trotro does not want to get up this morning. He would rather play, or make a big top for a circus, or imagine he is sailing along on a raft. Mummy calling him has no effect. Only Lili and Nana manage to get him out of bed.At the seaside, Trotro is busy collecting lots of little animals that he puts in his bucket with some water. But how can he make sure that they are not too squashed ? Trotro has an idea… which might surprise Mummy !That’s it !! All decided !! Trotro wants to become a musician. He plays the accordion, blows in a trumpet….. In the kitchen he turns a saucepan into a drum…. Bang bang bang!! He proudly marches around playing in front of Mummy.Trotro invites Lili to come and share his snack under a tree. But it’s not easy to eat outside. When it isn’t the sun melting the chocolate, it the bees who turn up !! Then its starts to rain and that messes everything up. Come on, time to go inside!

Trotro decides to make a blackberry tart with Mummy. Whilst Mummy is making the pastry, Trotro goes and picks blackberries in the garden. But he can’t stop himself from eating the blackberries he’s picking, and soon the blackberry bush is totally bare. Luckily there is also a plum tree and a plum tart is also delicious.Trotro enjoys using the make up from Mummy’s make up bag. He really looks like a little clown. Mummy and Daddy will be in for a surprise !Trotro falls asleep whilst drawing and has a lovely dream. When his nap is over, he draws his dream on paper, and it is the most beautiful drawings he has ever done. Well done, Trotro!Trotro is worried. He has lost Teddy, his favourite toy. He looks for him everywhere, but to no avail. Mummy tells Trotro to undertake a proper investigation and hurrah !! Teddy is found safe and sound.In order to impress Nana, Trotro starts to build a small castle with his toys. But Nana is indifferent to all his efforts. Trotro carries on despite his disappointment. When Nana comes back, the castle is really very impressive and Nana is suitably impressed. Trotro won’t take his satchel off any more, not even for playing in the garden with Lili and Nana. But this isn’t practical. He can’t do any skipping, his sand castle has got knocked over and he can’t climb up the steps on the slide. When he plays kiss chase, Trotro can’t catch the girls. So upon reflection, there’s only one thing to do. When playing, it’s better to take the satchel off.

It really is very hot in the garden. Trotro notices that the flowers look a bit thirsty. Trotro tries a variety of ways to water them, but it’s a difficult job for our Little Trotro to do, and the flowers wilt even more. Luckily it starts to rain, and the flowers are saved!Trotro is having a tea party with Teddy. To make some soup, he needs some grass, some pebbles and some water. Trotro stirs all the ingredients and asks his parents to taste it. But Mummy’s soup still tastes better.Whilst Mummy is making a cake, Trotro also decides to make one himself. He improvises and comes up with a whole new recipe. Mummy and Daddy are going to enjoy it.Mummy is at her wit’s end. It’s impossible to take a decent picture of Trotro. He jumps around, pulls faces, or suddenly disappears. The end result is that in every photo we just see glimpses of Trotro. Luckily Trotro comes up with an idea to get great pictures, and he is forgiven.Trotro is doing all kinds of tricks on his roller skates. Lili has a hard time keeping up with him. But they both return home on foot and in their socks…..Trotro is making a snowman. But Trotro gets cold and decides to go home to the warmth…. with the snowman. Luckily Daddy has a great idea so that Trotro can keep playing with the snowman.

Trotro and Lili have found a little hedgehog in the garden. But it’s impossible to see his face as he is all curled up in a ball. So Trotro and Lili offer him something to eat. Just the trick !! The little hedgehog shows his face. But how can they stroke him without hurting their hands on his prickles….?Trotro takes a phone call on Mummy’s mobile. It’s Lili who’s calling. Trotro knows that a mobile phone isn’t a toy and so rushes off to find Lili. But Lili is playing hide and seek…..It’s summer time ! In the inflatable pool, Trotro and Lili are splashing each other. What about Trotro’s goldfish ? Wouldn’t he like to swim as well ?Trotro is really proud of his new judo kimono. He dances around in it in front of Lilly and Zoë. He declares that he is a judo champion even though he does not have a single coloured judo belt like champions usually have. He takes his dad’s ties and pretends they are belts, and a new game ensues – whoever grabs one of Trotro’s « belts » is also a champion. Trotro’s new game is really good fun.Trotro is overjoyed – he has just won the sack race…. in his garden. Suddenly, Trotro decides that he doesn’t want to get out of his lucky sack. Boing ! Boing ! Boing ! Trotro jumps all over the house. He plays and eats and even has a bath with his lucky sack. Finally, after a full day of bounding around everywhere, Trotro falls asleep, totally exhausted, in his lucky sack, which has become his sleeping bag!!Trotro finds a tortoise in the garden. He takes it for a walk, but as it moves so slowly, he puts it in the trailer on the back of his tricycle to go more quickly. The tortoise puts its head back inside its shell and doesn’t want to come out any more. Trotro is disappointed, but mummy suggests he puts the tortoise back on the grass. He sees Zoë, who has lost her tortoise Shelly, and Trotro is now proud that he has found Zoë’s little pet.
