Synopsis

Trotro dresses up as Daddy. He puts on Daddy’s boots, glasses and his scarf and then goes to see Mummy who is preparing a snack. So Daddy pretends to be Trotro. He cuddles Teddy and asks for snack. Trotro soon only has one thing on his mind. To become the real Trotro again as soon as possible.Trotro has knocked his chocolate over Teddy. To wash him, Mummy puts Teddy in the washing machine. But it’s not so easy to dry Teddy afterwards. But Trotro’s efforts are all worth it in the end – there is nothing as good as sleeping with a nice clean Teddy. Trotro does not want to get up this morning. He would rather play, or make a big top for a circus, or imagine he is sailing along on a raft. Mummy calling him has no effect. Only Lili and Nana manage to get him out of bed.At the seaside, Trotro is busy collecting lots of little animals that he puts in his bucket with some water. But how can he make sure that they are not too squashed ? Trotro has an idea… which might surprise Mummy !That’s it !! All decided !! Trotro wants to become a musician. He plays the accordion, blows in a trumpet….. In the kitchen he turns a saucepan into a drum…. Bang bang bang!! He proudly marches around playing in front of Mummy.Trotro invites Lili to come and share his snack under a tree. But it’s not easy to eat outside. When it isn’t the sun melting the chocolate, it the bees who turn up !! Then its starts to rain and that messes everything up. Come on, time to go inside!
